Membership at The Crossing
Each year The Crossing membership covenants together to tangibly work out their faith in a community environment.
We have organized the church under the covenant below and membership classes are held every three months to inform people about how to covenant with The Crossing.
The next informational meeting is March 21st immediately after the morning service.

On the first day of the first month in the year Two Thousand and Six, at the design of our God and through the direction of the Holy Spirit, we who signed this document and all who follow after, do pledge to one another to obey and selflessly remain steadfast in the eternal truths contained in this document.
That all men may know the principles upon which we stand, be it known to all:
That the words contained in the Holy Bible were translated from manuscripts divinely given to men and conveyed to all through writings and are complete, infallible, inerrant, sovereignly preserved and used by God to rebuke, instruct, counsel and guide those whom he chooses.
Thereby, two ordinances established by Jesus while on Earth are baptism, the submersion of the entire physical body of those who through faith have believed that Jesus is the Son of God. And, in memory of His sacrificial crucifixion, do partake in the Lord’s supper as described by Matthew;
Thereby, by instruction from God, authority is given to the local body to enact discipline upon those who do so grievous a sin as to bring reproach on God and the local body. As such and for the purity of the kingdom of God, discipline shall be administered in accordance with the instruction of Jesus Christ and recorded by Matthew;
That Lordship of the universal church and this local body is solely the possession of Jesus Christ as was given him by God. As such, this local body acknowledges no other authority and is not ruled by congregational democracy or any governing entity, be it federal, state, denominational or by association but is solely dependent upon God through the Holy Spirit for guidance;
That God did predestine some men to be pastors, elders and deacons each for the maturing of all and the caring of some. That His children may exist in unity, be transformed into children who would love Him with all their heart, mind and soul as their spiritual act of worship. And, because of our transformation and through His love, tell all that Jesus is the son of God, crucified as our sacrifice, raised to life as our redemption and the making of disciples of Jesus, our physical act of worship; and,
That all who embrace these truths have been, by the grace of God, regenerated through His gift of faith and now live transformed lives showing traits first lived by Jesus Christ and described by the Apostle Paul as agape, longsuffering, peace, kindness, joy, faithfulness, gentleness, goodness and self control. As such, we the believers of Jesus, the Christ, are now known as the universal and eternal body of believers and of which this local body can only be made.
